The Inverness Cape has a dramatic, three-button, ribbed collar; the ruffle at the collar coordinates with the ruffle at the cape's bottom edge. This cape is worked top-down in seed stitch. Designed by Carol Lapin for the book Simply Shetland 4 at Tomales Bay.

The cape finishes out to at 27" long, with a circumference at the widest point of 68".
