A fun felting project! Using the intarsia method, you'll knit a design reminiscent of a tapestry. Designer Nicky Epstein has done superb colorwork in this project: the flowers are graded shades of coral, the leaves blend light and dark greens, and the background is a richly heathered dark brown. After knitting, you'll felt the bag to make it sturdy. Don't be put off by this intarsia project -- the felting will conceal any unevenness in your stitches, as well as close any inadvertent holes.
